launched the Nokia 5 last year, and seems like a 2018 edition of the smartphone is about to launch. The existence of the Nokia 5 (2018) comes from no other than HMD Global Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas.
In reply to a tweet asking for the Nokia 5 (2018), Sarvikas slyly replied, stay tuned :) While this is by no ways an official announcement, it is as close to a confirmation of the smartphone s existence as we can get. There is, unfortunately, no word on a specific date for the Nokia 5 (2018) launch. Sarvikas has been quite active on social media, and recently confirmed that the Nokia 7 Plus will soon be getting 4G LTE support on both the SIM slots.
HMD Global has so far launched the 2018 version of the Nokia 6. If the Nokia 6 (2018) is anything to go by, the Nokia 5 (2018) will be a small upgrade over last year s Nokia 5. Most of the improvements are likely to be under the hood.

The Nokia 5 features a 5.2-inch HD (720p) display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. For photography, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
